Throughout her life, she has had a passion for making others feel good, leading her to a career in hospitality. In 2000, she became a CNA and began caring for mentally disabled adults, finding joy in cooking for them. After 14 years, when her grandmother fell ill, she was inspired to care for her and incorporate island flavors into her cooking through her husband Antoney. Influenced by her grandmother and mother-in-law, she learned to heal through food. She dedicates her business, “SumtingGud2Eat,” to her family and all in need of good food.

Gisha Dudley is a committed educator at Brunswick High School with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Fort Valley State University, an MBA from Georgia Southern University, and a Master of Arts in Teaching focused on Mathematics and Science for middle grades from Armstrong Atlantic State University. She also holds an Education Specialist Degree in Advanced Educational Studies from Augusta University. Gisha is certified in Mathematics (grades 6-12), Science and Mathematics (grades 4-8), Elementary Education (P-5), and Science (K-5), and is recognized for gifted education, making significant contributions to her students' learning.

Sheron Smith Douglas

Will Gunther is the new Executive Director of the Golden Isles and McIntosh YMCAs, bringing leadership and service from his YMCA journey that began as a camp counselor in Tampa, Florida. After a personal tragedy, the YMCA became a source of comfort for him. He has held various leadership roles, emphasizing community engagement, inclusivity, and program enhancement, especially for childcare and at-risk youth. Describing his style as “transformational,” he focuses on staff development and YMCA core values. Will aims to double membership and expand services while enjoying exercise and family time, seeking to make a lasting community impact.

Sheron Smith Douglas is a retired educator with 31 years in the DeKalb County School System, teaching various history subjects, including Advanced Placement courses. She served as the Social Studies Department Chair and contributed to establishing the International Baccalaureate curriculum. Sheron holds certifications in Advanced Placement and Gifted education, alongside a Master of Arts Teaching degree from Seton Hall University. She viewed teaching as a calling, dedicated to inspiring her students.

Robert Douglas, born and raised in Brunswick, Ga., 1968 Risley High graduate. 1974 graduate of Rutgers University , majored in Political Science. Worked 10 years as a Commercial Underwriter. Taught school in Meriwheter County, DekAlb and Clayton County , Georgia. Community activist, married 53 years.

Pastor Edith Mangrum served on many auxiliaries in the church under different leadership roles, such as the Praise Team Leader, Choir, Minister Board, and Evangelist. She started attending Nursing Homes, visiting the elderly, and ministering through prayer and songs.
She graduated from Riley Training Institute with a Retail Sales Management Certificate. She graduated from Bible Baptist College in 2011 with a Doctorate in Theology. She is now retired from Morningstar Children & Family Services after ten years as a Lead Mentor.
In 2009, the Lord gave her and her husband a vision to start a church named End Time Kingdom Builders Outreach Ministries in Darien. Ga. She served faithfully as Co-Pastor until her husband was called to his Heavenly Home in 2022.

Ms. Chisholm, LCSW, is the Director of Mental Health Counseling at Morningstar Children and Family Services, Inc. She has 15 years of experience helping individuals, groups, and families who suffer from mental health, trauma, and substance-related issues. Specializing in mental health counseling, Katrina utilizes clinical experience and background to foster change in the local and surrounding communities.
Katrina graduated with an undergraduate degree in Psychology and obtained a graduate degree in Social Work from Savannah State University. After graduate school, Katrina gained a plethora of experience counseling women and men with substance use issues, women who lost their children to the Department of Children and Family Services (DFCS), persons incarcerated and recently released back into society on probation, and preventive programs like drug court.
